Had to wait to post this one because it runs tomorrow as a special spread. The northwestern sky lights up with stars, satellites, airplanes and meteors on the evening of Oct. 8, near the intersection of West 43rd Avenue and Pennington Road in Hutchinson, Kan. This image shows the movement of the skies through a stack of 70 images taken over the course of an hour during the Draconid Meteor Shower.
This is a star trail I did on the evening of Oct. 24 looking north out of Carey Park in Hutchinson, Kan. It is a stack of 300 images over the course of about three hours.
